A Russian word for country home, "dacha" conjures images of relaxing days and evenings with family and friends far from the city's hectic life.

Dacha vacation rental - with four bedrooms, and three baths (sleeps up to 10) – is a modern, elegant, two-story home located on Bandon's scenic Beach Loop Drive. Combining sleek contemporary style, white-water ocean views and the privacy of a wooded setting, the Dacha has touches of old world Russian charm that bring the house to life.

With expansive, open-concept living, and dining and kitchen areas on the second floor, the Dacha is perfect for entertaining and special occasions, including weddings and family reunions. There are three outdoor seating areas. The house has a fully equipped gourmet kitchen with new granite counters and stainless steel appliances, and large flat screen TVs upstairs and downstairs.

For vacationers who just want to kick back, you're invited to sink into the big leather sofa and watch the waves, barbecue on the back deck in the tree tops or stroll through the landscaped garden facing the ocean.

For golfers, the spectacular courses at Bandon Dunes and Bandon Crossings are a few minutes drive and the house has a clean, protected place to store golf gear. Bandon’s in-town course, Old Bandon Links, is a two-minute walk.

The Dacha is a few minutes walk to a beautiful sandy beach with unique rock outcroppings and some wonderful tide pools with lots of marine life to explore. 

Bandon also has excellent fishing -- for Chinook or Coho Salmon, Steelhead, Sturgeon, Halibut, or Rockfish -- or you can catch your own Dungeness crab.

If you book a week in June, July, August or September, Dave will take you crabbing or fishing, weather permitting (you’ll need to buy a license, available locally). If your stay is less than a full week and you want to fish, ask Dave and we’ll try to accommodate you.

The Dacha has many green features, including no VOC paint; bamboo floors in bedrooms; non-toxic finishes and sealers on all tile and masonry; and use of green cleaning products everywhere we can.
